This is the way I rank the teams in the Big XII and SEC

1)Texas
2)Oklahoma
3) (tie) Texas Tech
(tie) Nebraska
4) Missouri
5) Iowa State
6)Kansas
7)Texas A&M
8)Oklahoma State
9)Baylor
10)Kansas State
11)Colorado (no one expected CU to be this bad. Pre season I would have put them at 7th in the conference)

SEC
1)Auburn
2)Florida
3)LSU
4)UGA
5)Tennessee
6)Alabama
7)South Carolina
8)Arkansas
9)Kentucky
10)Ole Miss
11)Vandy
12) Miss. St.

The SEC has a huge drop off after the top 6. The top 4 teams are just fantastic though, and would beat every team except Texas more times than not. I think that Tennesee and Alabama are pretty equal to Nebraska and Texas Tech though, and would be some really great games. SC would be able to hang with Mizzou b/c of Spurrier (as they did in the Independence Bowl), but Mizzou, ISU and KU would be able to beat them on any given saturday (would be some really good games though). Keep in mind that Missouri just wailed on Ole Miss last week...not even close. Tennessee while overrated, they were fairly decent before last year's steaming pile.

I don't want to even speculate about the games between the SEC's bottom 4 and the Big 12's bottom 4...those would be some ugly games. I think that CU would be able to beat Miss State.

Of course the key thing in all of those is where the game is played. The only places in the big 12 that rival the SEC as far as atmosphere are Texas, Oklahoma, A&M and Nebraska, the rest suck. Even Vandy better atmosphere than the remaining 8 Big XII schools...
