Certainly, had it been posted in Chit Chat most of us would have rolled our eyes at Tom starting yet another thread devoted to reposting email forwards.
In News and Events, one assumes a topic has something to do with News or Events. Unless "Contents of Tom Earp's Inbox" was a CNN headline I missed, this does not.
