For clarity's sake:
There are different waves and extremes of feminism since the formal feminist wave of the 1970s. All that aside, being a (male or female) feminist simply means that you believe in equality across sex and gender.

I say that I'm not a feminist because for me it means being an active advocate for the rights of females. At this point in time, while I gladly stand up for my rights as best as I can, I don't have time to pursue them heavily. Perhaps when I'm older with a steady, proper job then I will devote more time to raising awareness for the worldwide injustice towards women. Right now, I'm just trying to make it through college!
