I don't think that.
I think you can be an upmost gentleman and still not be a punk. I'm just not a very romantic person most of the time, so I don't need the car doors opened for me or candlelight dinners or flowers. I'm just happy with the plain old person being themselves. Renting movies and eating Doritos would make me just as happy, probably happier, because we're in the comfort of our own home. I don't like a big fuss. That's just the way I am though, a Plain Jane. lol
