Not sure if you are still interested since rush is over...but my daughter can't stop talking about how sweet all the girls are! She is so disappointed that she can't wear her letters yet, not until after initiation. Just my two Cents:
I'm not a Pi Phi myself, but I've never heard of a Pi Phi chapter whose new members were allowed to wear letters prior to being initiated (Pi Phi's please correct me if I'm wrong).
Kappa Alpha Theta NM's have the same rule. We can wear or have things that say "Theta" or "Kappa Alpha Theta" but not the letters until after initiation. As a new member honestly I thought that was silly, UNTIL I went through initiation. Now I whole heartedly support the "no wearing of letters until after initiation" rule.
There are a few men's fraternities that have this rule as well.
