I posted this elsewhere but:

Cute rush story about twins:

My twin friends rushed 2 yrs ago. They are super close twins, and they tell each other everything.

They were both excited about rush, but they were also excited about finding their own identities at college. So they picked different dorms and such.

They hung out every single day up until rush. They decided that in order to avoid influencing each others choices, they would NOT SPEAK through the entire process.

They requested separate PX groups. They didn't even ask the other about where they got invited to each day, or even where they preffed. Since they were in separate groups, they were never at parties at the same time.

They said it was TORTURE not speaking for an entire week, almost to the point of tears. But they had always done everything together, and they wanted to do this one thing without the other's opinion influencing it.

So, bid day comes. All the PNMs are lined up alphabetically by last name, so they were right next to each other.

Twin #1 went in to get her bid and went downstairs, then Twin #2 went after. They officially broke their "silence" and caught up on the events of each other's lives, all still WITHOUT mentioning rush AT ALL. They both wanted to keep their sorority secret from the other til Bid Night started.

So they're both waiting backstage at Bid Night. The PNMs come out on stage one by one and the Panhell Prez announces their sorority, then they run down to their new sisters.

So Twin #1 comes out and is announced as a new member of Alpha Phi! She runs down excitedly, but she's MORE excited to see where her sister will go!
It never occured to her that since they hadn't been speaking, her sister could very well be going to the same chapters.

Sure enough, Twin #2 is a new Alpha Phi! The Alpha Phi's were videotaping and let me tell you, the tape of those 2 hugging each other on bid night is enough to bring anyone to tears
