Same here, in 7th grade it was a class. Also, when I was in middle school, the DOS based computers still were green screen.
(sucko!) My mom has an original Royal that she still uses. She HATES computers with a mad passion. I never really used the typewriter because it was too cumbersome and too girly for me (i was a huge tomboy back in the day
