My org def revokes someone's membership for things, such as grades. It's a big process from what I've been told. I was put on temporary alumni status for my grades. They were below for 2 semesters, I was busting my ass to get them back up and my gpa was constantly rising, yet the higher ups in my chapter didn't like me for some reason and put me through hell. I was always being put down about it, and they never offered me help or support.

Back on topic, alums from a different chapter on my campus are partly to blame for my org not being able to have Greek Week events where alcohol is present. Our "Mock Rock" used to always bein a bar, where many alums would come out to watch and have a good time. Actives weren't allowed to drink, but alums could. Well.... have two orgs whose themes were pretty much a big F-U to each other, put lots of alcohol in some of those alums/advisors, and hilarity and drama ensue. I'm proud of our alums for laughing at the situation.
