I agree. It is something I noticed, too, and I applaud the PNM's for using discretion and not saying "I hated Blue House on Day 2" and then at the end saying, oh yeah-- that was YOUR sorority. I think it shows tact and maturity, and it is their story to share or not.
And more recs doesn't equal more "points"-- each sorority evaluates recs differently, and different schools place more weight on recs than others. A PNM should ask students at her school, recent alumnae from the school or the office of Greek Life what's typical and go from there.
