One of my teachers always told us
"To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late."
I cannot say that I follow this idea. For professional and important events, I am almost always on time. The only time that I am late is when I have to go with someone else. I
hate when other people make me late. I don't like having to wait around for other people. But, I am too nice to just leave someone. Pretty soon, I am going to start leaving with or without people because I am too nice.
For other things, I am pretty lax about getting there on time. I am notorious for being late to class
In those instances, I live by "better late than never."
