However I have learned something interesting and sort of confusing. As a reminder UA has two seperate quotas, one for Freshmen (69 this year) and another for Upperclassmen (6). I found out Panhellenic only reports the Freshmen quota number to the I/Natls. I guess the Upperclassmen are viewed kind of like quota additions. I wonder if in Tri-Delts I/Natls' eyes they did meet quota with 71 even if they missed the on campus quota total of 75?

I have been lurking on this board, and I was going to shed some insight onto this situation...Tri Delt did only take 71 girls this year, 69 sophomores and 2 upperclassmen. Unlike most of the other sororities on campus, Tri Delt and 2 other sororities on campus didn't get any quota additions. The only difference is that the other two sororities took sophomore quota of 6. With not even six upperclassmen coming to Pref night, Tri Delt had no way to make 75...but trust me, the pledge class is amazing!! So technically, DDD did make quota, but decided not to take as many sophomores. On a personal note, I don't really understand the way Alabama did rush year, the pledge class numbers have ranged from super-low to almost 90...it does seem unfair, but this is the first year it has been this way and I'm not so sure Alabama was prepared for so many PNMs!! I'm not sure I've answered your questions, but this is just all I know...
