Yeah, if I were at ECU, I'd be rockin' the anti-Bush rally. He was selected president and it's an honorable position, I guess. Didn't vote for him (and damned glad I didn't), although my absentee ballot was probably screwed up some way by the corrupt, partisan, government officials in Florida. What he's done so far scares the living daylights out of me. The trouble is...it's not him, it's his tacticians. I am reminded of what a doctor from PP told me..."Bush my be personally stupid, but he's surrounded by some of the world's smartest political strategists".
Have any of you had an experience with a big speaker like the President, or anyone controversial, come to campus? We had Al Sharpton last year, but it was around finals and everyone was too exhausted to protest. Tommy Thompson came a few weeks ago, and there was a pretty big group protesting.
