The problem is that Bro. Young made his point badly in this instance. I think the bigger point he was trying to make was the lack of quality, and frankly that could have included AfAms as well as the other groups. Quality is a matter of commitment to standard-not ethnicity. Just as there are good providers of service, there are bad ones of all colors.

Personally I have a bigger issue with his apparent agreement with Walmart running these type businesses out.

All that being said, I won't hang Bro. Young out. The body of his life's work and commitment to civil and human rights ought to count for more than an instance or two of comments that cause a stir. If you put intemperate comments with a pattern of racist or prejudicial behavior, then maybe I could see it -- but not in this case.
