One of the fraternities on my friend's campus did a lock & key mixer. The fraternity men kept the locks, then delivered the keys to the sororities. The women show up with the keys and have to go from guy to guy looking for the lock that works with her key. When they've found a match, that's their "date" for the night. It's a great way to mingle, especially with new member classes!

If you have houses, another thing to try, that a sorority may like, is an etiquette dinner. Invite a sorority over (or go over there) and get someone "official" to give etiquette pointers over a nice dinner. Or, just invite a sorority over for a nice dinner your members prepared themselves. Women usually love guys that can cook!
