IIRC, the interest group that we colonized already had housing. It was a dorm wing or the like. I'll have to check.
The colony will particpate in Formal Recruitment next month. Here are the dates. The other chapters on campus are Chi Omega and Tri Delta.
Pre-recruitment Events
• Aug. 25, 2006: Freshmen move-in
• Sept. 12, 2006: Information Night
o Each fraternity will give a list of all membership financial responsibilities to each PNM at this time.
o Only factual/financial brochures about, or provided by the national fraternity may be given to PNMs.
• Sept. 13, 2006: Tie-Dye at 2 PM
• Sept. 10, 2006: Ice Cream Social at 12 PM
• Sept. 17, 2006: Homework Help / Game Night at 2 PM
• Sept. 21, 2006: Button Night at 7 PM
First Party
• Monday, Sept. 25, 2006
o First round – 7:00 to 7:30 PM
o Second round – 7:45 to 8:15 PM
o Third round – 8:30 to 9:00 PM
• Dress Code for the PNM – Casual dress (i.e. jeans, khakis).
Second Party
• Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006
o First round – 7:00 to 7:45 PM
o Second round – 8:00 to 8:45 PM
o Third round – 9:00 to 9:45 PM
• Dress Code for the PNM – Business Casual (i.e. khakis, skirts, no jeans).
Third Party (Preference Party)
• Monday, Oct. 2, 2006
o First round – 6:30 to 7:30 PM
o Second round – 8:00 to 9:00 PM
o Third round – 9:30 to 10:30 PM
• Dress Code for the PNM – Sunday best / Informal (i.e. dresses, skirts).
