As I write this I am watching a Dateline-like special on MSNBC about this case. This guy is wacked out...I just don't think it is air tight he is guilty yet, though. It's obvious his ex-wife detests him for various reasons, but she is also affirming he was with her that Christmas rather than not knowing where he was. Strange...his first wife was only 13 years old!!

What also baffles me though is the authorities are taking these great pains to extradite this guy and even told JonBenet's mother on her death bed, literally, there was a suspect. The emails he was sending to the professor, well they must say something that only the killer and the police know...as well as the DNA that was found in her underpants. They have even gone so far as to look at messages he wrote in people's yearbooks when he was in high school...early 80's.

He also had some kind of a fixation on the Polly Klass kidnap/murder. (Didn't they solve that case? Wasn't Polly Klass' killer the guy who gave the finger to the family when he was sentenced? Sorry for going astray, but I really think it was that case...)

What freaks me out is all the international travel this guy has been doing. Some of those countries where he has been children might not be "missed" like they are here. Even if he was a wanna-be in the USA, who knows what he was really up to during his travels if he was given the opportunity to "act" on these obsessions/fantasies while in another country?

All I can hope is that there is some closure for this matter. No matter how the public feels about her parents, the pagents, the strange behavior of the parents directly after the murder, etc., JonBenet deserves some closure so she can rest in peace.
