I think it's also important to remember that Delta Iota's formal recruitment numbers are up from last year, and those numbers are up from the year before, and those numbers are up from the year before... while people may be focusing on the fact that Delta Iota does not have 55 new members in Fall 2006, the fact is that the chapter is growing at a
reasonable rate. I mean, if they pledged 55+ this year, that would be almost half of the chapter, wouldn't it? I think it's a smart idea to pledge a new member class of a manageable size that is full of quality girls, then add to it in spring with another class of quality girls. I feel confident that the chapter will make quota within a few years if they continue growing at the rate that they have been.
