The ones I knew personally who dropped out of rush did so mostly because they had their hearts set on one specific chapter and didn't want to give the others a chance, or just decided in the middle of things that they didn't want to be in a sorority.

I would agree with this statement however, if you dont have good grades coming into recruitment (as in usually higher than the minimum required GPA) you can be expected to be cut heavily at UK and with some chapters more than others.
