School started for us this week and I have a few AKA items in my classroom. Class was about to end and these girls asked me if they could start a teen chapter "fo' da AKA and Deltas and dem".
Then the images from the chicken grease lip girl and the 'bout to be beat down wanna be Delta girls ran through my head. I told them what they needed to be worried about starting was a tutoring group for eachother to practice saying "for". All they did was laugh. *sigh* And this is the future....
