Yeah...October 23, 1885 at Depauw University with the help of James G. Campbell, Beta Theta Pi, the Alpha Chi Omega sorority was founded. Fascinating enough,
kai means 'and', and to go along with the story mentioned below, Alpha (1st)
AND Omega (last)......makes sense.
Interesting how Alpha Chi Omega used
kai in their earlier days. Must have been a Beta thing?
