I finally heard from Yellow's and Green's moms. Red, Yellow, and Blue each had more than 12 invites, she didn't say which groups, so they had to cut a little. Green and Purple dropped out of recruitment after the Pi Chi meeting--something to do with seeing all the gorgeous PNMs in pearls and designer clothes even at the Pi Chi group meeting! I'm surprised by Purple's decision because she's a legacy to a strong AU chapter and had a fine resume. Ladies who helped me with Green's rush--thank you very, very much and I'm still hoping she picks up a COB later when she can see the women in a more relaxed atmosphere.
The girls got their first invitations last night and Yellow told her mom that several girls were crying.
The big cuts should come after the second round of parties is finished tomorrow.
