LOL - it was after I had finished grad school and I had accepted a new position with a new company. Well when I got their, the position I had accepted, no longer existed!
I asked them why, during this last two weeks when I had given my notice to my current job, didn't anyone call to tell me. And they were just like, "
we thought you wouldn't mind". They offered me something else that I was not interested in doing(which I had made crystal clear during the interview process) so I left. I figured that if a company would pull some mess like that and I haven't even started the job yet, then I would only be in for a crazy time.
Before this, it was 3 days. It was a telemarketing job back in high school. I just could not motivate myself to sell knives over the phone.
