Yes and no. In my mind, Latina includes those of Hispanic descent. Yeah you could be from Cuba, Mexico, Brazil or Costa Rica and identify as Latina, but, then you fit into this Spanish/Portugese speaking "box"

To me, multicultural means not just black, white, brown, etc but Japanese, Chilean, Norwegian, African American, Irish, Egyptian, South African, Pakistani and Russian. This doesn't mean that there's going to be one of each in a MCGLO, just like there's not only Latina's in a Latina GLO, BUT the mental picture, as well as the goal of the organization, is different.

To your average Joe on the street, Latina/o is a specific subset of culture. Yeah, there's a big difference from one to the other, but from the outside looking in, you don't really see that. How many Argentines get wished a Happy Cinco de Mayo?
