Everyone's got at least one basement song going around about them...do we need to jump on that one person who admits it?
We have to realize that sometimes you hear good stuff, sometimes you hear bad. There are at least 150 Theta chapters, they can't all be perfect, can they?
With that in mind, my school's chapter. They've gotten recruitment infractions for various things (going over budget), they dirty-rushed me, and basically do whatever it takes to get a big pledge class (promise girls better housing, etc). I'm not chastising them for this, as my chapter did this in the past (before I came on board) They have a fairly high attrition rate. On an individual level, some of the girls in the house are some of my favorite people ever. They are smart, sweet girls who just happened to be in a sorority where some less than honest women ran the show. This will all change next year, as one of the "smart, sweet" girls will be running the show. I wish them the best of luck.
