Unfortunately our rush was right in the middle of that week. Many of us were completely distraught about the whole thing, and noticeabley many girls dropped out of rush. Out of respect, we cancelled our philanthropy night, which was fortunate, because it wasn't very well planned. The next night, rush simply continued and we all tried to put it out of our minds. It seems strange thinking back on it, because I felt that everything that I was doing at that moment or talking about was so trivial.
