I went to Emory's recruitment last spring and on their philanthropy day they all wore white jerseys with blue letters (I mean all of the ADPi's, I didn't see the other chapters) . . . Now that must have been their only "rules of fashion" for that day because you should have seen what some of these girls wore to "show their diversity."
First let me state - Emory ADPi is a good chapter and I am not "cutting on" them I just wanted to mention how these girls show their individuality. (And by the way I realize that these girls are smart so far be it from me to just their thought process.)
Most of the girls wore jean skirts or jeans - some wore shorts (warm winter in atlanta) some wore hats - Some wore belts and some didn't - Some of the jerseys were "old and cut up" some were obviously brand spanking new . . . and get this some of the jeans had rips in them (I know that was the fashion, but that just wouldn't go at UNA or Bama or Auburn for that matter)
They were so diverse I saw one girl wearing - PURPLE BOOTS - yes thats right PURPLE BOOTS - now this seemed to work at Emory, (When you have a room of over 100 girls and everyone was wearing white jerseys with blue letters then it is going to look good) but call me a rush nazi or whatever but if any of "my girls" walk in with any kind of boots - those boots better be made for walking right back home to get some tennis shoes or whatever.
So that is a story that I am telling the Delta members at the chapter I advise - show your individuality but show that yall are a group of girls who have chosen to be a part of ONE GROUP and another rule that I added this year NO PURPLE BOOTS!!!
