In confession James also said he was just looking out for Howie and himself, so I'm thinking he has a strong affinity for Howie and keeping him safe as well. Which could play into the whole game if Howie has SOME clue and that's why he's seemingly try to bug the heck out of Will.
Why would James continuously tell the BB6 alliance that Chill Town is really lying though if he's trying to play both side? Either way James seems to be in a very good position right now because both sides need him to progress. Things will turn VERY ugly though when he has to pick a side.
