Bahahahaha.. nope. I went to school in the shadow of the Wolverines (Eastern Michigan University, about 10 miles from Michigan) and we are well aware of the importance of the THE to those Buckeyes. Up here, it's said in the almost sarcastic, tongue in cheek, gently mocking tone reserved only for putting down the Buckeyes, in honor of the greatest football rivalry ever, of course!
Also, when our Chapter Roll is done at Convention, our International Reunion Day, etc, we have been told to make sure that the THE is in there.
