Wasn't Meredith's contract with TV up as well? I remember reading reports months ago that Mere's and Star's contracts were up for renewal. Meredith JUMPED at the chance to leave. I'm sure all knew The View's ratings were declining.
IF they thought STAR had THAT much pull with viewership, she was a BAD... SHUT MY MOUTH (smile)!
