I saw a show on it - I thought it was American Justice, too - and it highly insinuated that Jaclyn's uncle (or was it step-uncle?) was heavily regarded as the main suspect. He had been institutionalized, and his alibi for the night Jaclyn was killed admitted that she had lied. I think they also insinuated that Richard Dailey's political ambitions had a lot to do with David Dowaliby's original conviction, too.
