Photoshop is VERY expensive, I don't know exactly, but I'd guess the newest version (which is not what I have) would be $500-$600.
A lot of computers have photoshop elements installed which allows you to do some neat things, just not all that photoshop can do. We had a copy floating around my family, that's how I got it...but my copy is several versions old.
