you can always use black stockings ... and just cut the feet out. one of my sisters had an 80's roller skating party, and we had to dress up for it, and we wore the black stockings (from a drug store) under our skirts, and they looked just like leggins ... they worked really well, and its much cheaper than having to go running around looking for leggins!!
