Yes, but @ UMiami, there's a lot of older alumnae interaction, plus girls who are multigenerational legacies, so the chapters there are very familiar with recs.

FIU, on the other hand, has many students who are the first (women) in their families to go to college, much less join a sorority. And the sororities DO get many transfers in from other schools, like UF, FSU, & UCF who affiliate.
