Just by the way you worded that I thought that it was my hide that you were trying to nail, not hers. I still think that the way I meantioned though is the best way to deal with em.
As for the sound, I should of gone into more detail with that. We have some 70's issue equipment in our studio. If you pronounce things too loudly, it can give you technical headaches at times even if everything is being mixed correctly at the desk. Because of that its basically a unsaid rule in our little station to not get too loud while using the mics, plus its just good practice because I don't think that someone would want to be listening in to someone else just yelling all the time. Voice oscellation helps....
