Try to rush in SPRING instead
Personally I think you should wait until you have more time to devote to your process. No one knows what your membership in take process will be like except your membership chair and the chapter. You may have a rule that says no long distance travel until after you cross. And if you bring this up while you are getting the bid, you will come off as not completely commited to the process. So if you have to go on this trip, then I would suggest you rush in the spring. Good luck!
