Recruitment Question

I obviously haven't done formal in forever. I only help out "behind closed doors" as an alum.

So, I've heard about "regret with interest". I'm pretty sure at one point ASU did it (whether they still do now, I don't know).

I'm really not sure how it works. Which is why I'm hoping someone can tell me if you know a school that allows "regret with interest" and what it exactly means.

Is it when a PNM has to drop a certain amount of houses, but they really like a few they can "regret with interest".

I remember a some years back (and we are talking like 6 years ago, I've helped with recruitment at ASU since 2000, since I didn't affiliate), ASU gave the chapters a list of the girls who regreted with interest and didn't receive any invites back, so therefore the chapters could take a look and possibly invite the PNM's back. Is that how it works?

Thank you in advance for answering my incessant questions.
