Gentlemen -
One of my clients is the legendary R&B bassist, Chuck Rainey. The youngsters might not know who he is but suffice to say, Chuck is one of the most prolific Rhythm & Blues bass players of all time.
His credits include everything from Cannonball Adderly to Barry White.
(He is most well known as the bassist for most of Aretha Franklin hits as well as Steely Dan's)
He and I were talking business the other day and he happened to mention that he is a
Kappa Man (and was talking plenty of smack about it, too!
) He pledged at Lane College in 1962.
Just thought ya'll would want to know.
