I do NOT like the idea of releasing a child molester back into society immediately like this. What about solitary confinement, for his own good, or other solutions? It's a problem of the prison system if they can't protect their prisoners. It's not an excuse to let a guy out into the world who hasn't been rehabilitated. He will only be electronically monitored for FOUR MONTHS. If the judge was that concerned, then perhaps she should've thought outside the box a little more.

Exactly. I was thinking solitary confinement too. A child molester being unsafe in prison is just part of prison life. Oh well. I've known rapists shorter than me, and I'm 5'1 (I used to work in prison). What you find many times are that the smaller/shorter/skinnier people are the tougher/crazier ones because they know they're vulnverable. He did the crime, he can handle it. OH WELL.
