Question: are you supposed to tip the attendants who pump for you? I once pulled into a service-only station w/o realizing it and only had like $5 to get gas with. So, I had him put $4 worth of gas in my car and gave him $1. Should I have just had him put all $5 into my car?

I don't tip in Jersey...I don't know how it is done elsewhere though.
