I am too embarrased when "we" come into a place of business overtly and blatently ask for a hook-up. I work at an auto repair shop where I keep the books. This man came in here and asked me what I could do to help him on his $600+ bill. I told him I could make him a copy of it and that's about it. Then he had the nerve to ask me not to fax a copy of the invoice to his company(it was for an 18-wheeler) until Thursday so they won't take it out of his check this week. Like I'm gonna screw up my job so he can have a little extra in his check...
