I'm not basing their actions on my morals, I'm basing others' judgments on logic. The only (traditional) way to get pregnant is to have sex right? So, if pre-marital sex supposed to be not a big deal, then why is pre-marital pregnancy a big deal? Sex is risky business and contraceptives don't always work--anybody's pill can be ineffective and anybody's condom can tear. That being said, it isn't fair to judge anybody, but if one is going to do so, judge the action and motives of the person, not the result which came about by a stroke of luck, the grace of God, or whatever she believes kept her unfertilized for one more day.

As for the other part of the post, yes, I know a lot of people who got pregnant without being married......90% of my family in fact. For the most part, they acted foolishly, playing the "it can't happen to me" game. My sister got pregnant before she was married, and she was a college graduate, in a committed relationship, and using protection. So it was not because she was uneducated or careless, but because she was one of the .01% of people that condom package talks about. While your background, education, and whatever else can all play a role, in the end, that's not what determines it. It can still happen no matter what you do or where you come from, so since we can't judge chance/destiny/etc. I say leave judgements at the door.
