I've used both Molly Maids and The Maids.

The Maids send 4 women, and it's $100 an hour. It rarely takes more than an hour, but they take a short break.

Molly Maids send 2 women, and it's $60 an hour. They rarely take more than an hour, too, but don't take a break.

Both companies pay their women about $1 more than minimum wage, but the Molly Maids pays them better.

Neither are adverse to picking up and tidying - they'll even strip the linens and do laundry, if you want. I just want them to do the things that are hard on my allergies, so I make it easy for them (yes, I'm one of those people who will clean before the cleaning ladies come!). I schedule them for every other week, so I can have a Thursday or Friday; Molly Maids discounts for that but The Maids don't.

My mother always had a cleaning lady, but we haven't been able to find one for her in a long time. She uses The Maids.
