I was listening to Wendy Williams this week about Girlfriends. The problem is -- and possibly why they put them in the most TERRIBLE time slot vs. Extreme Makeover -- they don't want to go up on the paycheck per episode for all the lead players. This is being pushed by executive producer Kelsey Crammer who believes the cast should be making 300k per episode compared to the 200lk they are making now.
I am not sure if the negoitaitons worked but according to Wendy she says how its gonna work out is that they will probably offer Kelsey 500k per episode to produce and probably go up 25-50k per episode for the cast.
The pairing up of Extreme Makeover vs girlfriends will mean an easy dismissal of Girlfriends.
Ladies and Gents, I wouldn't expect to see them pass the February Sweeps.
