I was never saying anything against the master chapters or older members. I was commenting on the fact that many 20somethings are uncomfortable joining a group of women who are older than them - mainly their mother or grandmother's age.
Women of college or post college age now a days are not as 'social' as they once were. (read on the Millenial generation - this is stuff I learned doing my work with Phi Sig - incredibly interesting)
People in the Pittsburgh area are also not very willing to join chapters. We are working on that.
Almost all of the women on this board are trying to bring younger members into BSP as much as we can, we are trying to get BSP to make the changes needed in order to continue to grow. We notice the absence of younger chapters. Many of us were in NPC (college) sororities and we bring that expierence to the table...
From what I know of NuPhiMu chapters, there are very few left and Intl is not creating more. Women 18-23 are encouraged to start ROJ chapters and even the new Michigan Alpha Theta Chi in Flint is a college chapter- but RoJ.
Eh. Its late. My job is sucking. Im sorry if I ever sound b*tchy.
Mizpah to you all <3
