The only thing that would suck about the baby dieing is the fact that now Ryan wants to be a father, and let's face it, he won't have the oppurtunity (unless he gets his vasectomy reversed or there is another vial of his sperm out there somewhere, which you never can tell is soap opera land).

How far along is Kendall supposed to be? I ask because my cousin was born at roughly 28 weeks and she survived and this was back in the 60's. Why are they (as in the doctors on the show) saying that the baby won't survive? It seems to me, that yes, the odds are pretty slim but with medical technology the way it is the baby would have a good chance of survival. It would just be a major preemie and stay in the NICU for a long time.

But you know, they'll go for the dramatic effect of killing the baby, instead of looking at the long term storyline potentials of having the baby survive. They are looking at the here and now not a few years from now.
