but aside from my own personal problems, ive actually heard that its quite common in the 00-01's so im not really sure. But oh well, i still like my car, i just dont think i would ever buy another one .. which sucks just because aside from it all, i think its such a cute car !!

That problem occurs in all new Jettas - anything from 2000 on. I've seen people come in 2-3 times in one month because of it.
