I was flipping channels half the time so I may have missed some things. But this is the gist of it:
Rory confronted Logan's dad about sending him to London because he doesn't like her. Dad told her, basically, to get over herself and that he's sending Logan away so he'll grow up and stop partying which is the same thing his own dad did to him. Rory seemed to understand and didn't argue. Later she threw Logan a London themed party and he begged her to ask him to stay but she wouldn't. He left the next day and she gets to stay at the apartment rent free for the year because he's already paid for it.
Lorelai went to the Friday dinner and Emily had invited Chris and her college roommate's daughter, Carolyn, too. It was a set up to get Chris and Carolyn, a therapist, together. Chris begs Lorelai for help to get out of it but he has to stay for the remainder of the dinner. Afterwards, Lorelai has a therapy session in the backseat of Carolyn's car. Lorelai goes straight to Luke and demands they get eloped because she's sick of waiting and not saying anything. He says that he has to think of his daughter and Lorelai says she's sick of thinking. Lorelai goes straight to Chris and says she "doesn't want to be alone tonight". So no big shock when she wakes up the next day naked in Christopher's bed!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Emily and Richard bought Rory her very own astronomy building at Yale!
