When Andie McDowell first got into acting, she was in an update of "Tarzan" and apparently her accent was so thick Glenn Close had to dub her lines for her. No one cared previously, because all she had to do was MODEL - as in be in pictures and walk runways and never open her mouth. This isn't what ANTM is (or should I say has become). It's a tryout for the next spokeswoman for Cover Girl. If this was really just about
modeling, no one would care if Danielle even spoke English. I doubt that any of those Eastern European girls that are the rage right now talk like William F. Buckley.
FWIW, I have no problem understanding her, but then again I speak Pittsburghese which baffles many people.
