Just thought I'd share

thats a good idea... at our campus, sororities LOVE to compete with one another, and the fraternities play off that hardcore. There are all kind of sorority competitions and usually the winning sorority gets a free bar party with the fraternity.
We only have 6 sororities on campus, but they usually get about 5,000-10,000 dollars, which is pretty good for a campus of 2,300... im sure it would be a hell of alot more on a bigger campus...
Or, it would be cool to have a Beta Rose competition with individual girls, and you could have like a friendly week-long competition where girls get points for the money they get in a jar in the Student Union (coins are positive points, dollars are negative, it causes people to get competitive), and girls get points on how many Beta Rose competition t-shirts they get people to buy (profits go to the charity), then have like a community service day, and a day of fun activities like a trivia comp... etc. You would get the girls by nomination, or ask each sorority to toss someone in, or both...
We do vallet parking, typically for charity events. We live in a rich town so there is alot to be made in tips, especially when they people are told its for charity.
Also, on Halloween we have a caremel apple table out on the main street of the village. People love it!
Plus, in the stressful times, we put up a tent on the academic quad with our air hockey table and etc. We get our school president to play against our school student affairs person, the two big-wigs on campus to play each other, and that usually gets alot of people out to watch. From there we get some good business.
I know one group on campus does a laundry service, which I dont know how successful that is.
