If the OP wanted to ask "XYZ has a problem with ABC because in 1968 ABC tied XYZ's president to the flag pole in front of the Registrar's office naked smothered in honey, how do we help them bridge that gap?" then I think people would be more willing to jump in with an answer.

I think this is actually an issue on a lot of campuses, to the point where I think a general question works. Maybe he doesn't know how the feud got started. Maybe he doesn't want to give away too much info so the chapters don't get into trouble.
This is also one of his very first posts; I just think people should be cut more slack.
